Mid-Bay Chesapeake Barren Island 2025

BALTIMORE, MD 2025 -- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Baltimore District, awarded a $40 million contract to Seacoast Marine Construction Inc., of Long Island, New York, for restoration work at Barren Island, part of the Mid-Chesapeake Bay Island Ecosystem Restoration project in Dorchester County, Maryland.

335,000 cubic yards of material will be removed via hydraulic dredge from the Honga River

Seacoast Marine Construction Inc. Wins $3 Million Dollar Dredging Contract

Mattituck, NY 2024 -- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is initiating a $3 million project to dredge Mattituck Harbor. Work will begin Oct. 1 and be done by Seacoast Marine Construction, Inc. , a West Sayville based marine contractor. The project is expected to be complete in early November, Southold Supervisor Al Krupski said at Tuesday’s Town Board work session.
